We collect only the information needed to run LenvyTE for you and your trip group:

• Account information: email address, display name, and authentication details from our auth provider.
• Trip data: trip names, destinations, dates, group size, and member details you enter.
• Expense data: amounts, categories, descriptions, payment details, and approval status you or your collaborators add.
• Usage data: device type, browser, approximate location (for analytics), and error logs to help us improve the app.

We use your data to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the LenvyTE service.
• Show trip and expense information to you and your invited trip members.
• Send important service notifications, such as invitations and approvals.
• Improve performance, fix bugs, and understand how the app is used.
• Keep the app secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

LenvyTE uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and maintain your session. We also plan to use Google Analytics to understand app usage in an aggregated, non-identifying way.

You can control analytics cookies through your browser settings or any cookie banner we display. Essential cookies cannot be disabled without breaking sign-in.

We apply the following security practices:

• Row-level security in the database so trip data is scoped to members.
• HTTPS encryption for all traffic between your device and our servers.
• Secure authentication through email/password and Google OAuth.
• Regular access reviews and least-privilege principles for backend access.

No system is 100% secure. We follow reasonable industry practices but cannot guarantee absolute protection against every security incident.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated trip data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

We keep your account and trip data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep it longer by law. Backups may retain copies for a limited period before they are purged.
